What the picnic area is like

A turreted French-Normandy 'castle' set in vineyards along Hwy 12, with manicured lawns and a grove of century-old oaks. The West Oak Grove is where the no-host reserved tables sit.

Steve Ledson's 16,000-square-foot 'Castle' is one of the most photographed stops on Hwy 12, with a gourmet marketplace and oak-shaded grounds. Picnic-style visits run through a reserved no-host table with a bottle, using food from the marketplace.
