What the picnic area is like

The old Wellington Vineyards property on Dunbar Road, now run by the Belmonte family of VJB. Guests can take a bottle to the patio first-come, first-served, and seated tastings are poured in an olive grove beside the vines.

About Wellington Cellars

VJB's sister winery occupies the former Wellington Vineyards site in Glen Ellen, which the 2015 visitor guide listed as a picnic spot among some of the valley's oldest vines. Today it offers first-come patio bottle service and olive-grove tastings; whether you can bring food is unconfirmed.
