What the picnic area is like

A garden-side outdoor patio facing the estate's Cabernet vines along the Silverado Trail, where tastings are poured at tables. It's more of a relaxed patio tasting with your own nibbles than a sprawling picnic ground.

A pioneering kosher winery on the Silverado Trail just north of the city of Napa, pouring its wines on a garden patio next to the vines. Hagafen openly invites guests to bring their own snacks, and it's both dog- and family-friendly.
