What the picnic area is like

A small accessible picnic area of three sites beside the park's visitor center in Jenner, overlooking the Russian River near where it meets the ocean. From here you can watch the harbor seal colony at the river mouth. The 2026 park map shows parking, restrooms and a boat launch at the site.
