The picnic area sits beside the main parking lot on the east side of Adobe Creek, about 750 feet by path from the two-story 1830s adobe and its wraparound veranda. The adobe itself sits on a knoll overlooking the Petaluma Valley, and restrooms are at the lot; expect foggy summer mornings and strong afternoon winds.
